Today was the SA Fit benchmark run for the San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon, which is in one month. The marathon runners ran 21 miles, and the half marathon runners ran 12. The goal was to practice exactly what you would do on race day. Shelly and I haven't been training with the group, but we showed up today for the benchmark.

We had a plan and we stuck to it! The splits above tell the story. Our goal is to finish the race in 2:06. Today, we were on a pace to do it in 2:07. I think if the weather is nice and we stick to our plan on the day of the race, we will have no trouble achieving our goal!

We just have to remember to stick to our pace no matter what.
